Getting ready for Halloween, WAAAGH! style :)

Carved my first ever pumpkin today. I don't yet have a candle to put into it but I did a quick dry-run with a flashlight and it looks far more awesome with the light on.

So what do you guys think, should I make this into a tradition and have Ork themed pumpkins carved every Halloween?

Stay tune for something awesome coming up soon on the blog!

  1. LOL! Great work on the pumpkin, I wholeheartedly support this becoming a new tradition. If time permits I'd love to carve an Ork-o'-lantern for my own house. Thanks for the fun idea!

  2. I have been thinking of what other designs I could use. It is a bit more time consuming as I can't just cut directly into the pumpkin but have to scrape the skin off. Didn't take that much time though, maybe an hour.

Maybe next year I will host a WHFB/40k pumpkin carving contest, I think that would be quite awesome:)

Now I have to figure out what I want to do for the next pumpkin. Plus an added bonus is that our pet rats like the pumpkin seeds:)

  3. Very cool. I tried to carve an ork pumpkin last year, and it went south quickly. It never occurred to me to carve a glyph!
